We’re seeking an Information Security Officer to join us on an initial 6 month contract, and be responsible for all security related aspects for a key client. This role will require you to lead and be involved in the assessment, advisory, configuration and documentation of Information Security related projects and initiatives to mitigate and reduce risks across the clients environment

Responsibilities may include

  • Conduct threat, risk and vulnerability assessments
  • Consult and advise on risk mitigation strategies and actions
  • Lead security audits and reviews across IT systems and applications
  • Review and develop the security roadmap ensuring its alignment to the evolving threat landscape
  • Define and implement frameworks, processes, and procedures for monitoring security events and triaging alerts
  • Review security incidents and advise on security control measures
  • Identify gaps and potential risks whilst consult on uplifting the cyber and information security maturity

  • Remote access technologies
  • Next Generation Firewalls

  • Windows and Linux operating systems

Key Selection Criteria

  • CISSP, CISM certifications
  • Ability to conduct security audits and reviews 
  • Well versed with NIST, ISO27001 compliance
  • Any exposure with IRAP compliance would be highly regarded
  • Ability to conduct penetration tests and phishing simulations
  • Well versed with leading threat, risk and vulnerability assessments and able to consult on cyber security uplifts and maturity
