We’re seeking Unified Communications Engineer to join us on an initial 6 months contract, augmenting Banking client’s project on-site in Melb CBD.

The successful candidate will have experience planning, developing, building, testing, deploying and optimising voice and video core infrastructure.


Your day at NTT

  • Key role in design process, responsible for continuous service improvement, updating design materials, such as HLD/LLD template
  • Monitor, evaluate and analyse network activity and capacity to ensure network and systems availability and their optimal performance
  • Supervise the installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, support and optimisation of all voice and video core infrastructure
  • Conduct assessment of the existing network systems and make suggestions regarding improvements and upgrades
  • Act as escalation point for troubleshooting and fault-finding within complex unified network and security solutions.
  • Document internal procedures related to network administration and maintenance
  • Work towards establishing ‘trusted advisor’ status with technical personnel


What would make you a good fit for this role?

  • Strong Knowledge of leading video conference technologies and platform including Cisco, Pexip and Microsoft Teams
  • Detailed knowledge of the collaboration industry and related protocols, including SIP, H.323, VoIP, and WebRTC/RTP/RTCP media
  • Knowledge IP Trunking concepts, firewall traversal and topology design
  • Knowledge of ancillary technologies that help govern IP-based collaboration: firewalls, routers, MPLS networks, gatekeepers/SIP registrars, gateways/interop, media relays, reverse proxies, etc.
  • Experience with voice and video architecture and designs
  • Experience with IP telephony across large and complex geographical and technical environments
