Responsible for setup and installation of technical systems, applications, or process designs for client’s purchased or outsourced technology and business process solutions. Works directly with client to manage initial access, map and transfer data, create process documentation, and train or coordinate training for client users. Tests and troubleshoots functionality of installed systems; identifies and documents technical issues to be escalated to product and system integration teams for resolution. Provides feedback based on client experiences to product and professional services teams for product and process improvements. May work directly with clients on-site or provide installation support remotely.

What you'll be doing

As a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Consultant, your responsibilities will involve:

  • Mentoring junior Consultants 
  • Contributing to the technical governance structure within the practice
  • Contributing to design and implementation of Dynamics 365 (CRM) solutions.
  • Hands-on configurations and customisations 
  • Designing and developing Dynamics 365 based CRM solutions and related components such as Power Platform, CRM Portals and mobile apps.
  • Performing gap analysis between system functionality and client requirements.
  • Undertaking a consultative approach to understand needs and deliver business value.
  • Pre-sales activities including client demonstrations, proposal writing and presentations.

 

Main Duties / Key Accountabilities:

  • 5+ years of hands-on implementation and design experience with Dynamics 365/CRM.
  • Demonstrated experience with large, complex and integrated Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience with Power Platform (PowerApps and Flow).
  • Demonstrated experience in configuring CRM workflows, business process flows, business rules and calculated fields.
  • Demonstrated experience of integrating Dynamics 365 (CRM) with other software solutions.
  • Working knowledge of relational databases and data migration concepts.
  • Proven experience delivering solutions using Agile, learning and iterating frequently.
  • Knowledge and experience in software development lifecycle
  • High level communication skills, demonstrating an ability to communicate at the technical, business and personal levels with colleagues and clients
  • Previous system integration experience (including data migration) preferred
  • Microsoft Dynamics certifications or willingness to complete
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Business Analysis background preferred
