The opportunity

We are seeking a Technical Area Architect that will plan the architectural runway to support upcoming sprints, design/evaluate solutions and provide technical expertise to squads.

Based on our client’s site in Melbourne CBD you’ll join our team on an initial 6 month contract where you’ll be focused around assessing ideas considering value proposition, solution options and T-shirt sizing whilst also identifying and breaking down architecturally significant work. This is a role for someone who can be the SME and define and support the use of architecture guard rails whilst also leading architectural thinking at the enterprise level collaboratively defining the Solution Overview for the Technology Area and rolling up to the broader Domain road map.

Skills & Experience

To successfully  deliver this project we are seeking a hands-on Architect who lives and breathes enterprise enablement and has the SME knowledge to operationalise solutions.  From there you will bring:

  • Deep Workplace platform and product knowledge across Enterprise Vault Archiving technology to define architectural and design solutions and roadmaps that meet business needs
  • Understanding of the archiving technology stack in depth, including infrastructure, database, network and security sub-systems of the archiving technology
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Exchange
  • Understanding of the application integration within the sub system and outside the Domain
  • A desire to continuously learn new technologies and bring the best new ideas to the Domain
  • Strong skills in building collaborative relationships with stakeholders to understand their business and technology needs (current and future)
  • Good communicator and problem solver that can understand and translate business needs into strategic technology roadmaps and architectural principles
  • Ability to consult across business and technology with a view of compliance impacts

As well as the ability to commence  in the new year.
