We’re seeking a COMMERCIAL MANAGER and SENIOR COMMERCIAL MANAGER to join us on an initial 6 months rolling contract, augmenting Banking client’s project on-site in Sydney CBD.

Purpose of Roles;

1. Commercial Manager

The purpose of the Commercial Manager role is to identify and manage stakeholders and suppliers and to ensure successful commercial and contractual delivery of products and services to the business. A Commercial Manager supports the Senior Commercial Manager or Head of Sourcing Portfolio and/ or Executive Manager to deliver Strategic Alliance Services objectives while managing and controlling the operation of contracts between the client and suppliers.

2. Senior Commercial Manager

The purpose of the Senior Commercial Manager is to Lead, develop and grow a team in accordance with our clients people principles and processes, including, maximising employee performance, providing mentoring and coaching, etc. to ensure effective people management and development within the Strategic Sourcing team.

What would make you a good fit for this role?

  • Extensive Experience in commercial management including experience in negotiating and managing large contracts.
  • Extensive demonstrable experience in managing senior stakeholder relationships internally and with suppliers.
  • Highly developed skills in negotiation of long-term sourcing agreements, demonstrating commercial and business acumen and pragmatism.
  • Demonstrable ability in developing and implementing sourcing strategy.
  • Understanding of relevant business and technology products and services.
  • Tertiary qualifications in business, management and/or legal studies or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
